WELCOME TO OUR East Windsor! East Windsor was originally settled in the 17th century by farmers who were attracted by the fertile soils of the Connecticut River Valley. Farming is still a significant part of East Windsor's economy. Much of East Windsor's character is based on the farm lands and open space which lends our town its rural charm. East Windsor, CT, consists of five villages; Broad Brook, Melrose, Scantic, Warehouse Point and Windsorville. Although combined for government and education efficiency, each village retains its own unique character.
